In 1995, All World Languages & Cultures President and Senior Consultant, Emmanuel Ngomsi, Ph.D., received the National Foreign Language Fellowship Award from The National Endowment for The Humanities and The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation. In addition, he has been a guest speaker, lecturer, and presenter at various conferences' including The International Conference on Magnet Schools of America. Dr. Ngomsi is the creator of Yan-koloba, a multicultural teamwork, teambuilding and character building game rooted in African cultures.

An experienced educator and trainer, Dr. Ngomsi is a native of Cameroon and had lived in the US and France. He is a native speaker of French, three dialects of the Bamileke, is fluent in English and speaks some German and Spanish.

Dr. Ngomsi specializes in teaching Americans about the cultures of West Africa, and in promoting a love of cultures, respect for diversity, and international experience among US citizens. His clients include corporations like Shell Corporation and AAA of America; Government agencies and hospitals; Schools and Universities.

Emmanuel has taught French, Biology and Chemistry to Cameroonians, French, and American students, and served as Administrator of International Studies with the Kansas City, Missouri School District. As University Professor, he designed and taught numerous courses related to African cultures and education, as well as courses on culture and diversity in the workplace. For two years he was senior teacher and culture coordinator for the College Semester Abroad (CSA) at the School for International Living in Bratlleboro, Vermont.

Dr. Ngomsi spent nine years as instructor, cross-cultural and chief-Language coordinator for the United States Peace Corps in Cameroon. He has also worked as a presenter for the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) of the US State Department in Washington DC.

Dr. Ngomsi was honored in 1995 when he received the National Foreign Language Fellowship Award, from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation. This distinction allowed him to pursue his dream of researching African folkloric and children’s games. He is the creator of YAN-KOLOBA: A Teambuilding Game Rooted in the Cultures of Africa.

Emmanuel earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology, and a master’s degree in biological sciences at the University of Yaounde, Cameroon; an Educational Specialist Degree in Urban Leadership and Policy Studies in Education, and a Multidisciplinary Ph.D. in Public Affairs and Administration at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He is active in numerous cultural, foreign languages, educational and professional training associations, and has been a guest-speaker, lecturer, and presenter at various national and international conferences.
