When people with different cultural backgrounds or nationalities work together, there comes an inevitable moment of misunderstanding or disappointment during which communication seems to be difficult. The lack of knowledge and appreciation of the differences in background experiences are often the cause of frustration and decreased productivity. All World Languages & Cultures creates, sustains and directs a workforce and effectively manage an organization in this diverse environment to increase productivity; this communication training comes in two formats.

The first format helps managers develop the most effective skills for communicating with foreign nationals. Customized intercultural communication training has been critical in providing American managers with the skills necessary to communicate with foreigners working in the US, as well as with various ethnic groups in the domestic workforce.

The second format is for employees. The inevitable culture shock that your foreign national employees experience hinders their ability to be productive. This training provides assurances, recommendations, and answers to the multitude of questions for the newly arrived worker and his or her family. In addition, it prepares the foreign worker to respond appropriately to the radically different work expectations that may be encountered within your organization.

Our Methodology

Highly participatory: Our facilitation is very participatory, based on accelerated learning. We also pull from a variety of cultures strategies for building consensus, while having fun with simulations and appropriate games.

Adult experiential learning principles: Adults do not learn like children, instead they integrate real world examples based on past experiences. In adult training real world concerns are analyzed and addressed in the manner that enhances the goals of the organization.

Use of research: A wide variety of research results are used to compare and enhance discussions. With your organization's staff we raise questions that help them examine experience, test assumptions, gather and incorporate information about the present, and anticipate the environment in which this organization will be working in the future.

Customized Training: We develop case studies in light of concerns expressed by various groups to address a common and clear view of "What are the most important issues to respond to?" and "How shall we respond?"
