Anecdotes and studies abound in defining cultural diversity. Traditional diversity initiatives have produced mixed results as they have often focused solely on increasing the representation of traditionally underrepresented groups.
Participants will open their minds to “Inclusiveness”, a paradigm shift that advocates a fundamental change in the manner in which people encourage, support, value and leverage cultural diversity. Inclusiveness focuses on valuing the cultures of people from different backgrounds by recognizing that these differences can be assets to making organizations more creative, innovative, responsive to clients and more competitive in the workplace. We will demonstrate how some diversity initiatives seek but fail to benefit the underrepresented and how inclusiveness benefits everyone.
